On March 1, the meeting of the newly appointed Head of the Armenian Delegation to Euronest PA Viktor Yengibaryan and the EU Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin to Armenia was held.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, stressing the importance of the full use of the latter for the Armenian side and the European Union. Viktor Yengibaryan thanked the EU mission in Armenia and personally Mrs Wiktorin for assisting in different issues, expressing hope that the close cooperation with the European Union would also continue in the framework of the Euronest PA.

The EU Ambassador spoke about the tangible progress in the judicial reforms, expressing readiness to continue showing support in the implementation of the reforms, as well as referred to the EU initiatives and a number of other programmes aimed at boosting the agriculture and the tourism in the marzes of Armenia, particularly in Syunik Marz.

At the end of the meeting an agreement was reached to make more frequent the contacts.
